SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Honest conversations for the seasons that ask something of us.
Drawing from more than 40 years across education, human development, leadership, and experiential work, I speak about the challenge of sustaining a healthy rhythm in our personal, professional, and social lives while navigating the anticipated and unexpected transitions life brings.
Through stories, lived experience, reflection, and practical tools, I invite audiences to deepen self-awareness, better understand what they are experiencing, and create a healthier rhythm while giving themselves the grace and compassion to be human.
I understand what it means to give to everyone but yourself.
Years ago, I was balancing the demands of being a wife, young mother, doctoral student, and professional while carrying unrealistic expectations and an “I’ll take care of myself when I have time” mindset.
Eventually, that way of living taught me a difficult but valuable lesson: I could not continually pour outward without also tending to my own heart, mind, and spirit. It is a lesson that continues to shape both my life and the way I speak to others today.
A conversational, engaging approach
With a mix of stories, experiences, and lessons learned, I bring my heart for teaching and passion for helping people into every presentation.
My speaking style is conversational, reflective, and engaging. I offer support while inviting audiences to stay curious, look honestly at what may need their attention, and consider the small, intentional shifts that can help them move through life with greater clarity and steadiness…bit by bit.
Speaking engagements can be adapted for women’s events, organizations, conferences, faith-based gatherings, and other groups navigating themes of growth, change, self-connection, and life’s changing seasons.
